Appreciate the memories you are making.
Appreciate the streets you walk on.
Some do not have choices.
Some cannot be.
Some are not free.
Some were not so blessed.
Some do not feel.
Some sacrificed their time.
Some have lost their children.
Some have lost their spouses.
Some have lost their parents.
Some will have no memories to treasure.
Some will not walk at all.
Freedom isn't free. Thank you to those who have paid and for those who continue to pay for my freedom. Thank you to those who serve. Thank you to those who go without the things I hold most dear to keep our country free. I will not forget.
