Friday night fun to be had
Waiting patiently
Tummy tickles
Spinning
Round and round
Glances taken
Laughter abounds

Thankful Thursday is Back...
Been pretty busy here and working late
Thanking God would still be great so here you go.
1. For a brand spankin' new job! Wooot! Thank you God!
2. For a night out with the girls. Nice unwinding.
3. For a mom who let my little girl come spend the night.
4. For a daughter who came all the way from Grandma's just to give me a hug.
5. For a mom who made dinner for the family tonight to keep me out of trouble.
6. For a dad who blessed me with land and a close proximity to my family.
7. For a loving husband.
8. That the Mario ban is over and the future pilot is free to play again!
9. That my work commute will now sometimes be ONE QUARTER of what I usually drive.
10. That I can go to bed early tonight and get some major sleep.
Thank you Jesus!

Children Are Starving In...
China. Not so here. Defrosting the iceberg that had formed in the bottom of "one" of my freezers opened my stupidly shut eyes to a real mess.
We are food hoarders. Not cool. Especially when you realize, at some point, you must consolidate a few things in emergencies and may not have the space to store everything. Like when a freezer breaks down.
Every trip I made to another freezer embarrassed me more.
Especially when these demons kept falling out repeatedly...
Does anyone besides me notice the 'trend of frozen treats'? I am not amused.
And as I scoped the frozen tundras I noticed some equally stocked shelves...
Seriously, we need to do something about this.
and this...
The challenge is on. I am making a pact (with myself) that I am not going to buy anything but bread, milk, cheese and sandwich meat until these wastelands whither to a more acceptable storehouse. Wish me luck folks. My family is NOT going to be pleased.

Free The Peas...Or How I Spent My Monday
Long time no see blog world. Sorry for the lack of entertainment--if you occasionally find that sort of thing here. Work is smacking me in the face and the chores at home are piling up. Once task I've been putting off for far too long is this...
Ice picks freak me out. Have ever since some horror movie long long ago deemed one the perfect weapon.
Of course that was before my freezer decided to go haywire and keep my food captive. Free peas. What a wonderful sight. Thank you Mr. Pick.
